Things I love....Day 3 & 4

Day 3
I love that my McKenna is so incredibly smart. She is always surprising me by how smart she really is. Every day she goes to a 5th grade reading group and did I mention she is only in Kindergarten? Yeah she is in Kindergarten! She is also in an advanced math program at school. It has been so fun to watch her learn in leaps and bounds over the last year and I LOVE THAT!

Day 4
I love that my girls are old enough to help with the chores! They really were cleaning up in this picture. They were putting toys away and other random stuff. It is so nice when they help me. McKenna even unloads the dishwaher these days! It makes my job so much easier as a mom and I LOVE THAT!

Things I love....day 1 & 2

In honor of Valentines Day, I wanted to tell you a random thing that I love each day leading up to Valentine's Day. Obviously, I am already behind a day. Big surprise right? So here is days 1 & 2.

Day 1
I love the fact that if Madison has a hood on whatever she is wearing it HAS to be on her head no matter what. No matter if she is inside, outside, if it's nice or yucky out, the hood is on the head. I LOVE IT!

Day 2
I love that I know how to play the piano. Music is an amazing escape for me. When I sit down to play the piano I don't have to think about anything else than what I am doing right in that moment. It's nice. I hate the stress that comes along with being an adult and this is one way that I can pretend it's not there, even if just for a moment. I LOVE IT!

Long time, no see

So I know that I have been a horrible blogger as of late. I feel like I am running around with my head cute off and then when I try to recall what I did throught the day I have a hard time filling in the hours. One of these days I will be completely organized, be on a rigid schedule, and have it all figured out. But until then, you will have to put up with my craziness that I call everyday life. So sorry about that.

We have got to do a few fun things lately though. My dear friend from Idaho came to visit me a couple weeks ago. Tina has been such a great friend to me over the last 4 1/2 years. It is pretty funny because my great grandma and her grandma were best friends. What a small world! So while she was here we had a beautiful day so we packed up a picninc and headed to the park to have lunch and feed the ducks.

It was great fun and lunch was yummy. Then we decided to walk around the pond and we came across this nice little sign! HAHA Oh well the ducks lucked out for that day!

Then we went to a "live" museum at Fort Nisqually. It is an old fort and people are dressed up in period costumes and it was pretty fun. The building behind us is the oldest still standing building in Washington State. So that was a fun little part of Washington State History that I had no idea was there.

I had so much fun with Tina in town. We didn't take a whole lot of other pictures because mostly we just hung out. Thanks for coming friend!
