Trip to Ohio

So a few weeks ago I got to go to Ohio to see my sister and do a fireside for their Stake out there. It was SOOOOO much fun. I actually even went with no children so it was a real vacation. Travis (well his mom) was so great to watch the girls for me while I was gone. When I first got there the next morning we drove to Palmyra. This is us on the Hill Cumorah. There were so many amazing places to see and I took five million pictures that there is no way to put them all on here, but you get the idea.

This is me and Stacey at the Sacred Grove. The trees were not quite blooming yet but it was still so amazing to be there. The spirit was so strong and we almost had the whole place to ourselves being that it was a little chilly.

This is in the School of the Prophets upstairs in the Newel K Whitney store.

Reason #219 why I love Stacey: She is just as crazy as I am :)

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE all the barns out there. They are so cool. This is just a random one along the freeway.

This is at the John Johnson Farm where Joseph Smith was tarred and feathered and these are the same steps that he preached from the next morning. I have such a great love for Joseph Smith and all that he did. It was so neat to be able to be at all these places where so many significant things happened in our church history. Thanks Justin and Stacey for an amazing trip and for putting so much work into the fireside. It was great! I want to come back!

I took these pictures of McKenna back around her birthday and I thought you all might like to see them. I have been a TERRIBLE blogger lately so hopefully I will do better.

Happy Birthday McKenna

McKenna's birthday was on the 11th and I have wanted a to do a little post about her and I am finally getting it done. (Notice the time of this post.) It's hard to believe that she is 4 years old already. My little girl is growing up way too fast. She is such a joy to have in our family and I just can't imagine life without her. We love you so much McKenna and hope you had a happy birthday. Here are a few pics to look back on. They make me smile. :)

This is just a few hours after she was born. She was perfect.

Chain of Love!

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me!  My choice.  For you.  This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1.  I make no guarantees that you will like what I make for you.
2.  What I create will be just for you.
3.  It'll be done this year.
4.  You have no clue what it's going to be.  It may be a song.  It may be a self portrait or maybe even some creation I haven't yet dreamt up.  I may draw.  I may bake you something and mail it to you.  It may not be big or impressive.  Who knows?  Not you, that's for sure!  But lets be honest here.  This is me and I will likely do something amazing.  So come on sign up.
5.  I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
The catch?  Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog.  The first 5 people to post this same blog on their blog and leave a comment telling me they did will win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me.  Let's keep the chain of love going around!! (I don't mind mailing out of state)

So excited!

So a bank in Ontario (the town a few miles away) had me take some pictures of main street and they used my picture for their billboard! I was pretty excited the first time I drove by it and new that it was my picture. Too bad it doesn't have a credit on it. Oh well. It was still exciting.

If you are interested......

I took this picture this last fall and I have to say that it is one of my most favorites. I am selling this print to try and help with travel expenses in my music adventures. (If you want more information on that leave a comment and I will send you an e-mail all about it.) Anyways, the cost of trying to get to places to share the music I have written is getting too expensive to try and pay for all on my own. So I am doing this to help. The size is a 10x20. You can get just the print or with a custom made frame (as seen in the 2nd picture). Your frame can be black, white, chocolate brown, or natural wood. Also you can get the print with or without the scripture. Just the print is $65 or print with frame is $125. If you would like to purchase one leave a comment with your e-mail or send and e-mail to stephaniehillman@gmail.com and we can work out the details. Thanks so much for all your support!

The light on this is different because it's hanging on my wall and there is a light shining on it and it was at night. So just know that the color is exactly like the print above.
