June in a nutshell!

Man alive do I have some serious updating to do! And since so much has happened since my last post on May 9th you just get a few highlights :). Life has been pretty busy around here. McKenna lost her first tooth! That was pretty exciting. She doesn't look extatic at all! Now she has 3 more loose teeth so that will really be a funny picture!

Then she was the star of the week at school. On the last day of the week we got to come and go to lunch with her at school. Madison had so much fun and can't wait until she gets to go to school! Megan was quite the attraction out on the playground. She wasn't quite sure what to do with all the kids all around her. It was pretty funny.

Then to really get some excitement around our house McKenna decided to fall off of a trampoline and break her arm! She actually broke her elbow. She wasn't exactly too thrilled about that little adventure. Especially once she figured out that she wouldn't be able to do a lot of the fun things she loves. Especially riding her bike. But some great auntie's sent her some fun stuff to keep her busy!

And even though Father's Day is long gone I wanted to make sure that I got them in this little June wrap up being that I did a Mother's Day post. First up is my dad. I have the best dad that ever was! He has such a strong testimony of the gospel, worked so hard our whole lives to provide for us, came to all our sports stuff, and always took the time to take us places and have fun with us. My dad also taught us how to work. I love my dad and miss him so much, but am so proud of him serving a mission right now with my mom. One year down and one to go! He also loves my kids and they love him so much! He is a wonderful Grandpa!

I also have an amazing Father in law! He always welcomed me with open arms from the very first time I met him. He taught my husband so many valuable lessons and skills that he has used to provide for our little family and for that I will forever be grateful. He and I always love to share a good joke and a green can. He is also a geat Grandpa to my kids and they love him very much!

Then there is the father of my children. I couldn't have asked for a better man to be their dad. He is one of the hardest workers that I have ever met in my life. He works so hard for our little family and I love him for that. He is also the most honest person I know. If he tells you something you know it is the truth because he wants to be upright and honest more than anything. He always takes the time to play with the girls when he gets home even when he is dead tired from working all day. You should see the way their faces light up when he walks in the door. They think that he hung the moon, and I love that. He also loves his daughters mom and that is one of the best things that he can do for them. Thanks for all you do Travis, we love you.

Then finally McKenna had her last day of school on the 20th. Her teacher was Mrs. Shelton and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher for her. It was so hard when we moved because she loved her teacher in Idaho so much, but Mrs. Shelton made the adjustment much easier for her. She was so great and we will miss her very much!

This sweet little girl with McKenna is her friend Helen. Helen lived on our street and was her good friend in class, but she moved to Hawaii last week so that was a bummer. But she has a few other great friends in the neighborhood.

Hopefully now you are all caught up on our lives. And hopefully it won't be so long between posts next time, but with me you just never know :)
