Happy Birthday Megan!

Megan had a birthday a couple of days ago and I needed to make sure I did a post about her before it was too late and her birthday was long gone. I took down all the Christmas decorations including the tree the day before her birthday so that on her birthday it would be just that. Not Christmas, just her birthday. I think I will do that every year so that she has a day that is just for her.

My Megan is such a sweetie pie and brings so much happiness into our home. Even though she still doesn't sleep through the night, we love her so much. She was my biggest baby so far and has stayed bigger than the other two so far. Poor McKenna is going to be the shortest sister I'm afraid. It's the Brownell curse for the first born. :)
I love her chubbiness, her smile, the way she wants to snug up on me when she is sad, the way that she can brighten my day with just one look, and most of all the way she loves me unconditionally no matter what my faults may be. I wonder what the world would be like if everyone could love like that.

And now she is a beautiful one year old little girl, no longer a baby. Somedays I wish she would just stay my squishy baby forever, but I know that defeats the purpose of why we are here. But for now I will take the snuggles that she gives me and enjoy them as long as I can. I love you Megan and hope you had a Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Megan!!! What a cute picture! She is a doll. I LOVE her hair. I like your idea of making sure Christmas is all taken down and making it just her birthday. Great idea. We love you Megan!!
